God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

Ephesians 5 is my favorite chapter in the Bible. It talks about how we need to live as children of light. My favorite verse in that chapter would probably be Ephesians 5:4. It says: "Have nothing to do with the deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." I love how simple this concept is! Since it's so simple, why is it so hard to live out? That a question I want answered. Why can we not follow the simplest of commands? Though I have no answer, I'm glad that even when I fail him, I have a God who loves me.
